Our institution has an outstanding academic record of 11+ students the majority of whom have gained scholarships to grammar and independent schools of their choice. We attract many 11+ applicants each year and we ensure that they are easily guided through their 11+ journey.

We prepare our 11+ students for their exam through weekly assessments, regular homework, and mock exams. We regularly monitor every individual’s progress, and encourage all our students to develop their own personal skills so that they attain the highest possible results in the 11+ examination.

We familiarise our students with both formats of the 11+ test including the Standard Format and the Multiple Choice test. Our 11+ preparation programme is centred upon the following four disciplines which are comprised within the actual test:

  1. Verbal Reasoning,
  2. Non-Verbal Reasoning,
  3. Maths
  4. English

Our programme includes a three hour weekly session on Saturday at the centres. The session is divided into two groups, one formed of year 4 and 5 students and the other year 6 and 7 students. It commences at 10:00 am and finishes at 1:30pm, including a thirty minute break from 11:30 am -12:00pm. During this time students are not authorized to leave the centre unless parental permission has been provided. Our students are taught Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning, as well as English and Verbal Reasoning.

We recommend that students are prepared at least one and half year prior to them undertaking the 11+ test, which should warrant their desire to gain entry into a grammar school of their choice. It will ensure that they are equipped with the essential skills needed for the 11+ exam including creativity, memory, comprehensive learning and reasoning.

We also provide one-day programmes during the half term holidays for students who wish to enhance their performance even further.

References for admission into secondary schools are available on request, upon completion of each 11+ course. They are however subject to the discretion of the director.
